Merry Chreestmas everybody!

Christmas in Australia on a scorching summers day (hey!)
Jingle Bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden ute!
We went to my Aunt's last night for our usual Christmas Eve do: Mum, Dad, Me, Brodie, Alysha, Nan, Pop, Mal, aunty Maree and Lisa. Listened to Christmas Carols, ate lots of food and had many lovely sentimental family moments (including the quotage of Robin Williams and favrious movies including Monty Python). Great story, we had our entree thingy and then (because they live literally over their side fence from a golf course) we all went out and had a few putts out on the green because Mal loves his golf. The other highlight of the night was the kangaroo who was busily eating in the bush that seperated the house from the golf course. I took like, a million photos of him (he was a pretty big boomer) so I'll post them up soon!
Thus far (Christmas Eve and Christmas Morn') I've gotten an absolute buggerload of shower gel and loofahs and soap and face masks and perfume and body lotion and lip gloss and various other pretty make up type stuff as well as bathers (FINALLY), a new mousemat from Caitlin, earrings, grog (Irish Cream from Kathryn) and a pink faux fur throw rug. More to come when I go to my great Aunt's for lunch (including the obligatory spearmint leaves and raspberry lollies that she always gives us) and my new BED, LAMP and OFFICE CHAIR that has been ordered from Ikea!
I'm getting a LOFT BED. I've wanted one for like, five years.
SQUEE.
( And now, for you! I have: header+icon sets, headers, manips and wallpapers all in the genre of Charlie, Claire, Dom and Emilie )
ETA: I just got the funniest christmas text message. "If you woke up this morning with a fat man stuck up your chimney, there's going to be a lot of unhappy children today! Merry Christmas!"
