Is it true that the season finale for this season has been given the codename "The Rattlesnake?"
LINDELOF: "The rattlesnake in the mailbox" is the full name.
CUSE: It's one of those highly scary and vulnerable things: What if you drove home and stuck your hand in the mailbox and there was a rattlesnake in there?
LINDELOF: Here's how this came about. One day, Carlton was looking at his mailbox and thinking this: "Wow! No one would expect this — a rattlesnake in their mailbox!" He shared this in the writers' room one day, and every writer turned to him and said, "What kind of sick thought is that?! Of course no one would think of a rattlesnake being in their mailbox, because only an extremely sick, deranged individual would put one in there!" And it was that which made us think, "Actually, a rattlesnake in the mailbox is the perfect name for what we're doing in our finale." Because only an extremely deranged individual would think of doing what we're doing.

So while I'm on the subject of Lost, "Tricia Tanaka Is Dead" aired here last week in Australia and can I just say? Omifuckingod. BEST EPISODE SINCE SEASON ONE LIEK WHOA. I have always been a huge fan of "The Moth" and "Confidence Man" as all round episodes but I gotta say, "Tricia" is totally up there with them now. I could just watch this episode over and over and over again, seriously. The combination of characters and situations and one liners just made this episode SO awesome.
Ah screw it. It's totally deserving of a review!

I was totally in tears the whole time that Hurley was talking to Libby. I <3 you Jorge Garcia!

-Mr Clucks go boom! I really must look up the difference between meteors and asteroids. One of them is stationary in space and the other is the kind that is a falling star right? Or something.

-Jin is rather non-plussed. Poor guy.
-Hurley *speaks Jinglish*: CAR.
Everyone else: ...huh?
-I'll admit it. Paulo made me laugh when he said "Why do we need to start a car?" and again when he grabbed Nikki by the back of her shorts and pulled her away with him. Bwah.
-Jin is totally just like "wtf?" at Hurley's crazy laughing.
Then we have a Kate/Sawyer scene which is kind of pointless. Observe...
Saywer: Are we there yet?
Kate: No.
Saywer: Are we there yet?
Kate: No.
Saywer: Are we there y-?
Kate: NO WE ARE NOT THERE YET NOW SHUT THE FUCK UP BEFORE I SMACK YOU UPSIDE THE HEAD YOU FREKKING ASSHAT!

Kate: Oh for... anticipation, Jack, stuff, blah blah blah...

Carmen rocks my proverbial socks. BITCHSLAP! Lots of people get slapped in this episode don't they? *starts singing the Fisch slapping dance from Spamalot for no apparent reason*

That was the show in a nutshell. You got the highlights and skipped the crap I didn't care about either. Perfect. One of my favourite eps all year. All it needed was an actual Charlie/Claire scene with dialogue where she asks him why he's moping and he pretends he's not. It could have gone right in place of one of those useless Kate scenes. Oh, well, TPTB will never see eye to eye with us.
