Saw this on another friend's journal but their comments were disabled so I couldn't say I agree with this so much. I do and even had a conversation with a student worker yesterday about how atrocious some Facebook comments were. A life is a life, period.

I hate being political on my LJ but I may have to repost this one anyway. It's an important lesson for all to know.

Define:politics. The occurrence where people and/or politicians go apeshit over ridiculously stupid and trivial things only to find out that they have a stick shoved up their ass and therefore cannot agree on anything because of some similarly ridiculous and trivial reasons. There is also a lot of immaturity, bickering, and dicking around that happens when politics are involved.

That about sums it up for me at least. LOL.

I have been alerted to the fact that this is not actually a MLK quote (http://blasphemes.blogspot.com/2011/05/misquote-jr.html), but that some of it is fabricated and the rest is paraphrased, for the most part. That, however, I don't think, actually negates how perfect it is. I just wish that whoever came up with it would have credited themselves, because it really is beautiful.
