I loved this chapter. When it started with Rose avoiding him again and then the argument I worried that it wasn't going to move forward from there but instead it really delivered. You sure do rock the love scene don't you? Nice story development at just the right time. I can't help thinking about what the Doctor will think when he returns. It seemed in the canon story that he was aware of everything that was happening while John, he was just not in control of it, like he was a spectator the whole time. So I imagine he will remember this quite clearly.
