I am so in love with how much Rose's family welcomed the Doctor in. It was small and imperfect and Jackie was usually either slapping/yelling at him or hugging/snogging him (all equally terrifying to him doubtless) but for a short time they were all the family he had. I'm glad that some small part of the Doctor gets to have that happily ever after he always knew he'd never get.
