I so enjoyed writing this - it was an exhilerating moment for them wasn't it?

This is inspired: a brief and simple statement, but very powerful in its implication, and something I hadn't really grasped until now.

That line was a huge part of this story's development, it was one of the first bits I actually wrote and as soon as I wrote it I knew that the whole fic was going to lead up to that line.
