It was certainly a very dark fic but at least it had a happy-sad ending instead of a completely dark angsty one.
A big chunk of the last section was actually the original opening for "Fight for You" when it was going to be from Charlie's POV. It was so great to revisit my old work again and put it into a new fic ^_^
