It's one of those fics where I'm attracted to the angst but scared by the rape element which I think is a very brave thing for you to write.
That would be a very confronting fic to write let alone read, but done well it could be really chilling and totally amazing. If you ever want to write it but feel like you need some help then just poke me.
Actually as well as parts 2&4 mirroring each other, I thought 1&3 had strong parallels too - in the first one Charlie's girlfriend is hurt by her first experience of sex and in the third one its Charlie who is hurt by his first experience of penitration. In parts 1&2 it feels like Charlie has a more dominant male sexual role, then in parts 3&4 he takes the more submissive role and seems rather like an abused female. Then when you get to the Claire section Charlie feels almost asexual, like gender roles aren't important any more because their relationship doesn't have a sexual agenda.
Wow. I'm even more unintentionally brilliant than I thought I was! Haha =) I'm glad I was able to provide something thought provoking and interesting for you though ^_^
