I had never thought about the Sam Austen lie but this was a brilliant connection for Charlie to use.

That was one of those revelatory moments within the writing process that had me bouncing up and down because I was so excited. Talk about a perfect plot point!

It's sad that Kate is finally happy and I don't begrudge her that but Charlie's right, things are not the way they should be.

I think that's part of the reason that she's so reluctant to go back. But Charlie is right, things aren't the way they should be.
