Great writing as always Sapphie, but this emotionless robot woman Claire the writers have given us in S4 really does leave me cold. I found Claire creepy here (I don't know if that was your intention?) When she repeats Charlie's "I could be your friend" line and reminds Sawyer of how he once gave her a baby blanket it is like she is trying to encourage Sawyer to be her new helper. It's like Claire isn't missing Charlie on an emotional level, she's simply missing all Charlie's little services that she had grown accustomed to. Now she's looking at Sawyer as a potiential replacement. It makes sense but it doesn't make me like Claire very much at all.
