I believe the reason I was so drawn to Charlie and Claire's characters (and even Hurley and Desmond) was because they cared about other people. They weren't like Jack and Kate in the sense that all they wanted to do was run off and explore. Charlie was just as happy making Claire smile or making jokes with Hurley. They really did kill off one of the most lovable, caring characters on the show.
I really, really love how you use quotes on a lot of your fics. You always seem to find the perfect one for every situation.
Also my favorite line: “I don’t want to die here Claire – not in this place. I don’t want to be forgotten.” Gah. You know how to get me every time.
