I'm actually very glad you didn't have Desmond give in...I think a relationship with Claire would cheapen what he had with Penny. The flip side of that, of course, is that it also cheapens what Claire and Charlie had. So I like that you kept things platonic...but with an aching hint of more.
I'm putting this one in my memories. This is bittersweet and lovely.
